The Integration of Migrants from other Cultures

The Notenspur Leipzig e.V. (Leipzig Music Trail Association) consciously undertakes its activities to integrate migrants from other cultures based on the long tradition of musical sharing in the Music City Leipzig and the integrative power of music. Without international musical exchange, the Music City Leipzig would not exist. Music speaks all languages and connects people beyond cultural and linguistic boundaries. It mutually sensitizes and creates a feeling among migrants of belonging and identification with the new community. Conversely, international exchange creates a feeling of enrichment rather than threat towards other cultures.
These positive experiences of integration, with the help of music shall be continued by music-related guided city tours for inhabitants of reception facilities and common housing.

If you are not native to Leipzig and are interested in a tour of Leipzig for non-natives from other cultures, please turn to musictrails(at)notenspur-leipzig.de
