On February 8^th, 2015, the very first salon took place with the program “Excalibur – Fabulous Music” – inviting children to also participate themselves. After this successful start, the continuation of the Children’s Music Salons was a done deal. Every year the Leipziger Notenspur, together with MDR Klassik (public radio channel), musicians from the MDR Symphony Orchestra and Ekkehard Vogler from the CLARA network, invite children and families to listen, sing, dance, craft and discover in the MDR Cube. A music festival for the whole family!
